This is a clip from one of my favorite shows of the 70s, The Midnight Special, every Friday night on NBC.
I don't know how to quantify this, but this band has to be the ugliest band who made the best music. Check out this great classic rock song by Steely Dan (some really torn up dudes).

I agree on all points. I do like the guitarist wearing the blue shirt. It's like someone made a bet that he couldn't stand completely still while playing.
And I love Bill Cosby doing the intro!
I'm a huge fan of the fact that they felt there were not enough background vocalists in the band, so they added the one guy whose sole responsibility was to sing background vocals.
Lots of misfits there. I'm sure they got better looking with time. You always had a different taste in music than I did. I do remember you staying up much later than I did when we hung out.
